  Abstract:  Le statut de la philosophie chez Justin et Athénagore. Saint Justin a été appelé par la tradition chrétienne “le martyr et le philosophe”. En effet, il ouvre une lignée de penseurs qui ont réfléchi sur le rapport entre philosophie et foi religieuse à l’intérieur du christianisme. Le cas de Justin est intéressant aussi parce qu’il est l’héritier direct de la pensée grecque, ayant le ¨métier¨de philosophe. Même si les réponses qu’il a formulées ne sont pas toutes satisfaisantes aujourd’hui, sa problématique reste actuelle et sa solution provisoire donne à penser.
